What We Do
The SOCWP volunteers undergo brief training and learn to become the eyes and ears of the Sheriff's Office. We drive around in volunteer's vehicles in two person teams and look for suspicious vehicles, people, or activity. When we see it, we make a report on it. We wear uniform polos and use radios to communicate with dispatchers and other patrol units. Our reports give us records that can be used to apprehend a criminal that commits a crime in Seven Oaks. Also, we are a strong deterrent when criminals see our vehicles with decals and lights paroling different hours of the day and night in the community. They quickly learn that it is not a good idea to commit a crime in Seven Oaks.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Seven Oaks Crime Watch Patrol is to maintain a dignified proactive patrol organization comprised of volunteer homeowners from our community.
